The TX-4 is the LED Conversion Head you have been asking for. After extensive development and testing, we are very pleased to offer our most versatile LED Tactical Light Conversion, yet! The TX-4 was designed to upgrade the Surefire Millennium Universal Weapon Light (M951/ M961) into a powerhouse of lumens. The legacy Surefire incandescent and LED lamps provide 120 and 225 lumen (respectively). But, in situations requiring a weapon light, more is better. Until now, Soldiers and Marines have needed to add large, heavy turbohead bezels to their lights to effectively increase lumen output. But, the TX-4 is a game changer! No larger than the standard Surefire heads on the Millennium Universal Weapon Light series, the TX-4 provides an unprecedented 600 useable lumens on a 3v-12v system!

The TX-4’s stunning performance is based on our Cree MC-E 4-Die lamp with an orange peel reflector for a more even spill. Like our other LED conversions, the TX-4 puts an emphasis on lumens in the beam’s spill area. This better illuminates an entire area, including room corners, instead of creating a single fireball of light in the center. That’s not to say the center is not bright. 600 lumens will help you attain the tactical advantage over your adversary.

One of the other important features of the TX-4 is its compatibility with other Surefire light bodies. Using adapters lets you attach the TX-4 to everything from an E1 to a G3L. Please make note of the compatibility chart below to find out which adapter is required for your application.
